HT allocated RM, RM912 is seen arriving at North Weald. It had made the long journey from the Isle of Wight. When purchased this vehicle seemed to be destined for the scrapyard. The bus had almost every usable part taken away and used to keep other Holloway vehicles running. It is a credit to the current owners that they have managed to get in a roadworthy condition. This vehicle was withdrawn at HT when route 139 was converted from RM operation in 1999.

RM2097. HT operarted RM2097 is seen arriving at North Weald. Like RM912 RM2097 had been decimated whilst at Holloway. Again credit must be given to RM2097s owner Tim Barringtom who has got the lady back into a road worthy condition. Again like RM912 the vehicle was made surplus to requiements when route 139 was withdrawn.

RML903. RM903 HT was for many years Finchleys most cherished vehicle, on closure of that shed RML903 was transfered to HT. At HT she becoma a shadow of her former self as the showbus era fell away. She ended her service days looking rather drab on route 390 which by this time she was working out of Kings Cross. RML903 is unique vehicle she is one of only two RMLs that were left out of the refurbishment program in the 1990s. She retains many original features that were fitted to Routemasters when new. She is now owned by Metroline. Of note RML903 duplicated the last Routemaster into Kings Cross garage when Routemasters were withdrawn from route 390 in September 2004.

RM1804. RM 1804 has also had a chequered life since withdrawal when route 139 was converted. She was initially sold for scrap. However the owner thought otherwise. And she is here now. She is seen in the livery of MTL London, one of the most drabest of red livery ever carried by the Routemaster. It is good that a vehicle is preserved in this livery.

RM1001. RM1001 is seen posing at North Weald. This particular vehicle was withdrawn in the 1980s and was one of the first to be preserved. She ended her days working on the long and erstwhile route 27 from Archway to Teddington. Of significance is the registration plate 1 CLT is probably worth more then the vehicle it self. However it is good that both have remained intact.

RML2620. RML2620 is another unique vehicle. To celebtrate the Queens 50 years in office this vehicle was painted in Gold livery whilst at Holloway and worked throughout 2003 on route 10. A EFE model was made of this particular vehicle. The vehicle returned to Metroline livery once the celebrations were over. She ende her service days on route 10 and was withdrawn when route 10 was split. She is painted in her withdrawn livery of Metroline colours.

Well by far the most represented Routemasters that were on display at North Weald had links with North Londons Holloway (HT) and latterly Kings Cross (KX) Garages. Here i have dedicated a section just for Holloway RMs. Holloway has been my local garage for approx 32 of my 43 years.
